-
- point your web browser at:
-
-
- http://www.w3.org/ , or more specifically
-
- Getting the W3C Source Code Distribution
- http://www.w3.org/hypertext/WWW/Distribution.html
-
- This is a platform independant (i.e. unix...msdos,mac) library all with
- source code in C
-
- It handles all the network stuff for you (http, ftp, nntp ...) all you have to
- do is make it amiga specific and add a GUI, and image/sound handling (the
- library supplied the html stream....)
-
- I'd do it myself if I had the time......
- BTW This is also what the juggler author is basing his code on (although he is
- rewriting as he goes to "amigatise" it ;)
-
-
- You'll also need the amitcp developer files:
-
- available on aminet:comm/tcp atcp_sdk* ,amitcp_api* , and amitcp_src*
- (I think)
-
- >If you could either tell me where to find the info, or email it to me,
- >I would be extremely grateful.
-
- I posted, in case others are interested.
-
- >1) What about the Web Browser/Internet package from Amiga Technologies?
-
- no, the more the merrier ;)
-
- >2) What's in it for me? (I'm talking about you)
-
- If its good I (and others) will buy it...nuff said.
-
- >Thank you so much for your time and efforts. With your help, I hope to
- >design the best Web browser on any platform.
-
- A quick point or two:
- make it run on at least OS2 ECS 2 meg
- and have gif(jpeg?) internally decoded.
-
- Also this should have been asked (or crossposted to c.s.a.programmer?)
